Swan Lake Estates is located 7 miles north of Interstate 10 and 2 miles east of US 49. Just outside of the city limits of Gulfport, MS, the neighborhood is serviced by City of Gulfport emergency services and utilities. The subdivision encompasses 275+ residences surrounding a private lake. In addition to the lake, community amenities include a clubhouse, pool, pickleball court, playground, and nature trail.

Swan Lake Estates is governed by a Homeowners Association (HOA). The role of the HOA is to uphold property values by enforcing community covenants and maintaining the HOA-owned common areas.

Homeland Neighborhood Management, LLC provides administrative support to the Swan Lake Estates Homeowners Association.
